Founder + Creative Director
Hi, I’m Dorthy, founder and creative director of Color Pop + Bloom.
What began with a love for flowers and beautiful celebrations has grown into something much bigger: a creative studio centered on how design can shape the way people experience a moment.
I love beautiful things, of course. But what excites me most is what happens around them.
The conversation that starts at a Bloom Bar.
The employee who sees a note of appreciation written just for them.
The couple walking into their reception and seeing their vision come to life.
The guest who enters a hotel lobby and immediately feels that something is special.
The brand activation people stop to photograph, experience, and share.
Those are the moments I want Color Pop + Bloom to create.
DESIGN WITH PURPOSE
Every project begins by listening.
Who are we designing for?
What are you celebrating?
What do you want people to feel?
What should they remember when they leave?
From there, we use color, florals, texture, balloons, installations, interactive elements, and thoughtful styling to build an experience around the answer.
Sometimes that means an unforgettable wedding.
Sometimes it means transforming a workplace for Employee Appreciation Day.
Sometimes it’s a branded Bloom Bar, a seasonal hotel installation, a community gathering, or a beautiful dinner with the people you love most.
The projects may look completely different.
